Another successful product of Winnipeg’s north end, Mark graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1977. He initially worked at a busy downtown location, seeing hundreds of patients every month. During 1978 through 1989 Mark was also head of the Departments of Dentistry at St Amant Centre and Tache Nursing Centre. He has been married to Leslie since 1978 and they have two wonderful kids.
Mark maintains a special interest in dealing with the “anxious patient,” using techniques of conscious sedation...something that works extremely well with the young and the aged. Since graduation he has been an active practitioner of cosmetic dentistry, an art that requires a delicate hand and a good understanding of the patient. Mark now applies a cosmetic focus to all phases of dental treatment.
Mark will only work with the best materials and latest technology available because he believes a job worth doing is a job worth doing well. He is constantly updating his skills and therefore his professional reach. For example, Mark offers his patients the many advantages of the Argon Dental Laser.
